Ingredients
1 cup Gluten Free 1:1 flour
1 cup OliveNation Vegan Mini Chocolate Chips for melting
4 oz OliveNation Vegan Mini Chocolate Chips for batter
1/2 cup olive oil
4 eggs room temp
1 cup regular sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
Spider web:
1/2 cup marshmallows
Microwave safe bowl
Gloves
Directions
Preheat the oven to 325°. Using a pastry brush, lightly coat the sides of the 8 inch square pan with coconut oil. Then place parchment sheet on the bottom of the pan.
In a small saucepan, on medium low heat, melt the one cup of chocolate and the olive oil until creamy. Stir repeatedly to get it to melt, and be careful not to burn. Set this aside while you make the brownie batter. In a medium bowl, combine the cocoa powder, the flour, and the salt and whisk together. In a large bowl, using a whisk, beat the eggs, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until combined. Then add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Using a rubber spatula mix this together just until combined. Do not over mix. Lastly, add the 4 oz chocolate into the batter and give 2 to 3 mixes to combine, without over mixing. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly across the pan. Bake for 34-40 minutes, a toothpick will come out almost clean, but not all the way. The top will begin to crack at this point also. Place the pan on the counter to cool, and you will see the top begin to crack more. This gives you the nice flaky top. Allow them to cool on a baking rack for 1 hour before removing. Then, place the marshmallows in a microwave safe bowl. Heat on 20 second intervals until they are able to be stirred. (About 40 seconds.) using gloves, spread the marshmallows as shown in the video, across the brownies. Top with your favorite Halloween decor. Make sure the brownies are cooled completely before trying to slice.
