Apple Crisp Donut Coffee Cake

Ingredients
For the streusel:
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup quick or old fashioned oats
1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon OliveNation Organic Ground Saigon Cinnamon
Pinch of kosher salt
2 tablespoons OliveNation Autumn Sprinkles
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, diced and frozen
For the cake:
1 pound bag OliveNation Apple Crisp Cake Donut Mix
3/4 cup warm water
2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
1 large egg, at room temperature
1 teaspoon OliveNation Apple Cinnamon Flavor
Method
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees; line an 8” square pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides. To make the streusel, whisk the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Add the sprinkles and whisk. Add the frozen diced butter and toss till the pieces are coated. Use your fingers and to rub the butter into the dry ingredients till crumbly, with pieces of similar size. Set the bowl in the freezer till ready to use. To make the cake, combine all of the ingredients, folding till incorporated. Pour the batter into your prepared pan and smooth with a small, angled spatula. Top with the streusel and spread evenly. Bake 25 – 35 minutes, till a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool in the pan on a wire rack.
