Ingredients for Shrimp

1 1/2 pound jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined)

1 1/4 tablespoon of jerk seasoning

Ingredients for Pasta

1 12 oz box pasta (gluten free pasta works too)

One orange, bell pepper, sliced evenly

One green bell pepper spiced evenly

1/2 tablespoon of jerk seasoning

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 tsp salt

Half a cup of chicken broth

2 1/2 cups heavy cream

2 tbsp of olive oil

6 oz shredded Parmesan cheese

2-3 oz shredded mozzarella

Method

In a large pan, begin by boiling pasta per instructions until al dente. Do this step first, then drain the pasta and set aside and reuse the pan if you would like to make this in one pan. To make this dish in two pans, begin boiling the pasta in one pot while starting the shrimp in another pan.

In a medium bowl, combine the peeled shrimp with the dry shrimp seasonings and mix well:

jerk seasoning

roasted garlic powder

sweet Hungarian paprika

In a large pan, heat one tablespoon of olive oil on medium. Then add the shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until slightly pink. Remove the shrimp and place onto a plate. Then, lower the heat to medium-low, add the remaining olive oil. Once heated, add the sliced peppers and cook on medium until slightly translucent, about 3 minutes.

Reduce heat to medium low. Next, add heavy cream and chicken broth. Follow this with the dry seasonings for pasta:

jerk seasoning

dried thyme

OliveNation red bell pepper seasoning

OliveNation Hungarian paprika

OliveNation ginger powder

salt

Stir well and add both cheeses. Once this is combined, allow the mixture to simmer as it thickens, about 5 minutes. Add the pasta and gently stir. Then add the cooked shrimp and serve. Serves 4-6 people
